New York’s ReyLovesU releases his highly anticipated mixtape The Covers. The underground R&B singer/songwriter and producer wanted to create a special vibe for his listeners in this one and it is something you can listen to from start to finish. He took some of his favorite throwback songs and threw his own spin on them as well as mixing in some of his original tracks.

The best way to describe The Covers is its versatility. He has some 112, Maxwell, Avant, and Al B. Sure! in this project. Additionally, he aimed to show off my Latin side giving the listeners some Latin fused records such as Trucos produced by Mr. Ju Heard and Pierda Control produced by Saavane. The body of the work starts off just right with his track I Hope He Fcks Up. The song sets the theme for the project and his track Ack Right is the icing on the cake. This is a project R&B lovers do not want to sleep on. Click play and get lost in Rey’s new tracks. Follow Rey on Instagram, Twitter, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and listen below.
