Today Lonestar State rapper, Roadrun CMoe delivers his new single “Star Playaz” ft Icewear Vezo KrispyLife Kidd and Louie Ray.  The new single is accompanied by a lively video that pictures Roadrun CMoe draped in Versace as he Icewear Vezzo and his crew stunt in the club popping bottles and living the lavish Dallas life.

Icewear Vezzo starts off the song delivering a virtual blicky in the face of haters as they stroll in the club. Also featured on the song is KrispyLife Kidd and Louie Ray who deliver menacing verses as they rap over a Detroit heavy beat that is all gas and no brakes like the Pistons.

“I got a relationship with a couple of Detroit artists. Everything really was genuine. So they pulled up to the city already. And then we just put that together right there. I met with a lot of artists out of Detroit. So I’m actually putting together a whole Detroit Roadrunner compilation tape right now. Like there’s Vezzo, Babyface Ray, G.T. a couple more people too,” Roadrun CMoe said of his upcoming compilation.

When asked about the Dallas rap scene and how things have been shaping up for rappers on the scene, Roadrun CMoe said that the city had some momentum but its been tough to tell lately.

“I feel like at one point in time, not too long ago, maybe like 5-6 months ago, I felt like we were really making progress in Dallas, we’re really putting some eyes on the city, where now it’s been kind of hard to tell how it’s really moving,” Roadrun CMoe said. “My sound is different. You know, I got more of a trap sound but I call it anti-cap music, you know what I’m saying? You know like, I just… My music is just more like facts, it’s hard to kind of tell, but when you listen to it, everybody kind of talks about the same stuff. So my sound just helps separate myself already. But you know, if you actually tune in to like my lifestyle and stuff and really see what’s going on, it’ll make more sense.”

Branding his music as “Anti-Cap” music, Roadrun CMoe is 100% authentic with the music he is putting out.

“I want the fans to know that this shit is really going on, its “Anti-Cap” music. I got a well known clothing brand and I got a cannabis brand,” Roadrun CMoe said.   “Everybody stay tuned in, if you’re taking the time to listen to this interview, go look up my YouTube channel. It’s Roadrun CMoe I got a lot of fire visuals, you know. Like a lot of entertaining visuals. And my Instagram is Roadrun_CMoe. When you tap in, you’ll find I’m really active. I’m always moving around tapping in with different people and stuff. Yeah, check out the new music, it’s fire.”

Save the date because April 26 comes the latest project The Coldest. Skilla Baby is poised for the announcement by unveiling a brand new single Free Big Meech. Produced by MIA JayC and Lee Choppn, this single hinges on tense synths and punchy 808s, while Skilla Baby unleashes a vital verbal flurry. Paving a lane to the forefront of the game at high-speed, rising Detroit rapper spoke on the project:

I took my time to put this project together… Sometimes, I feel like people try to place me in a box. The pressure of being a new artist, being successful, staying disciplined, and still clocking into the studio is very strenuous. But fun at the same time. As an artist, I’m known as the “Girl’s guy”. But I’ll never forget I come from the streets. As a real person, I feel so many emotions (mad, sad, happy, anxious, etc.). I say that to say, sorry for the wait but I wanted to put everything I feel into one project. Grab your coats…

Next up, the Vultures Eat The Most Tour takes him across the country on his most extensive jaunt yet. He also joins forces with New Orleans heavy-hitter Rob49 to co-headline the tour with tickets available here. This year is gearing up to be the coldest yet so pre-order your copy of the project here. It’s harder to wake up when you have mundane ish to do. Unveiling a brand new music video, Young France recruits UK Indie sensation Master Peace for huge new track Wake Up. Life becomes easier when you’re on the path to becoming a rockstar. The music video, shot in the UK, follows Young Franco and Master Peace individually, through a first-person lens as they undertake “mundane” daily activities until they then meet and begin to enjoy the iconic streets and taxis of London together. Franco spoke on the track:

Working with Master Peace has been an amazing experience. I found out about his project via his record “Eyes on You” and have wanted to work with him since that moment. I was writing a bunch of tracks in 2020. One of them being an early version of Wake Up, which I wrote with Elliot from Delta Riggs. I connected with Master Peace online and once I got to London last year, we smashed this in a couple of hours. His new record is fantastic and I’m super excited how this one turned out. Special mention to Danio from Husky Loops for some added production too.

Young Franco has started 2024 off with a bang, where he teamed up with UK rapper S1mba for the release of the funk laid hip hop track HITA. Wake Up follows a busy year of touring already, where he has done a sold out run of Europe with a string of sold-out shows in the USA. Young Franco has accumulated over 200 million streams and plans to continue to put Astralwerks Records on the map. Stream your copy of the single here and watch the dreamlike visual below.
