The self-titled “STRLNG” EP is a short hip hop project that showcases dope lyrics, catchy melodies and blunt punchlines from the rising southern artist.

STRLNG (pronounced “Sterling”), a 24 year old Hip-Hop artist from DFW, TX is on the come up. A lyricist whose songs are packed with clever punchlines, metaphors and catchy melodies, STRLG has worked hard to continuously improve his quality of music. After dropping his 1st mixtape “LFD” in fall 2012, The New Jersey Native’s name started to grow around the Dallas Fort Worth area. Sterling followed up the project with the mixtapes “Hotboxes And Hoodies”(Winter 2012), “LFD2” (Summer 2013), “My Happy Place” (Spring 2014) and the Album “Airplane Mode”(January 2014) which exhibited his lyrical and musical creativity.

The Emcee returned in 2016 with the release of his 2nd album “The Campaign” which combined thought provoking lyrics and awesome production as the emcee attempted to “Make Hip Hop Great Again”. STRLNG continued his momentum into 2017 by dropping the EPs “Case Closed” (Produced by J. Rhodes) and “Feels Good, Don’t It” (Produced by Digital Safari) along with a number of dope singles and freestyles.

STRLNG has made a name for himself as an great performer. He’s performed in multiple shows across Texas as well as in Los Angeles, New York City, Denver, Tampa, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Kansas City and Chicago. Opening up for acts such as Waka Flocka, Lil UziVert, Post Malone, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Playboi Carti Nappy Roots, Ghostface Killah and others. With the combination of dope content, talent and work ethic, STRLNG is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.
