“The Desired Group” CEO Desiree Reavis set to leave significant impact on Hip Hop @thedesiredgroup



Desiree Reavis is a natural born leader who has been destined for her moment of greatness as the CEO of one of the fasting growing labels in the music industry. From the early stages of her life she was groomed musically. While starting off playing the piano in church that led to her getting residuals at many different upscale restaurants for her talent. This triggered her to learn more about the business aspect of the industry as she would continue to grow. “I always knew I wanted to be a CEO of a music label, I always loved the business side of the industry, after studying, it just made perfect sense so naturally to me” said Desiree Reavis in a past interview.

In the early 2000’s she would go on in her continuation of learning the business by joining multiple street teams & doing club/concert promotions for major artists such as Akon, Snoop Dog, The Back street Boys and many more. Climbing the ladder she would later find herself getting Mentored by major record label A&R’s from the likes of Roc Nation, Universal Latin and many more. In 2006 she Desiree Reavis began working as a spoken word artist. in a short period of time from this action it led her to opening up for the likes of major artist such as Mike Epps, Dead Prez, and many more big names.

She would go on to be given a chance to Make her national Television debut on BET’s Lyric Cafe before the show ultimately got canceled. These steps in her professional career led her producing Many spoken word events including “The Stage” which ran for up to 15 years. All of these past experiences led her to forming “The Desired Group” in 2019 which is a full multimedia firm that offers artist management, development, marketing, and public relations.

Her latest artist E1even has become a success fast under her Cloud of experience and well respected professionalism. Already having meetings with Big labels such as Republic records for her new artist, its clear to see that she has to formula to succeed in the music industry. AJ From The 9 Comes Thru With Vibes On “Live From The 9/YeaYea Freestyle”

After dropping his last album “Sounds From The 9” on New Years 2020, Southern California rap artist AJ From The 9 is back with his latest visual and follow up album in over a year. Despite difficult circumstances during the COVID-19 pandemic, AJ has stayed busy working on new music for his album “More Sounds From The 9”, ready to once again, “Do it for The 9”, aspiring to be a breakthrough success from the region, referring to the 909/951 area of Southern California.

Over the 2nd half of 2020, AJ has teased new music, dropping singles such as “Dead Presidents”, “9PM in The City” & the Black Lives Matter themed “Light It Up”. His latest visual comes as a double feature involving his most recent single “Live From The 9” along with a fresh new track “YeaYea Freestyle”. The double video showcases the duality of the album, with “Live From The 9” channeling a chill, mellow vibe and “YeaYea Freestyle” encompassing a more upbeat, energetic type approach from the BlaQ Kennedy artist.

RARI – “For The Love”




RARI is building an undeniable wave in 2021. First with the Johnny Juliano-produced “Not What It Seems,” and now with his arguably best song yet, “For The Love.” A early offering to his forthcoming project, the Virginia artist elevates his storytelling wordplay with an exciting new tale about L-O-V-E.

On “For The Love,” RARI tells the harsh and dangerous reality of his Portsmouth stomping grounds. Narrating the hustle, the thrills, the struggles and the troubles, but when its all said and done, he wouldn’t want to be from anywhere else. Weathering the rise with big productions and co-signs, RARI is a rare breed of new artists that create their own styles from obscurity and gain regional popularity that spreads like wildfire.
