He started directing music videos for artists and gained interest in music and that was enough motivation for him to purchase his first microphone.

It took him 4 years to make what he believes is a “good” song. He has been through a roller coaster of a life and he hopes to share his experiences and help spread the positivity. He grew up in a community that nurtured engineers and where art was frowned upon so he hopes to help other people is a similar situation find confidence in chasing their dreams. He grew up listening to Indian music then transitioned in to alternative rock and eventually found himself listening to R&B. His favorite artists growing up were Ne-yo, Chris Brown, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Green Day and Childish Gambino. He is now focusing of building his own sound while currently living on the shores of California.

He dropped an incredibly shot video late this April for his female friendly “soniye” track. tesh described the release as follows:

“soniye” is what I describe as a very upbeat sad song. The word soniye means beautiful in my language which is Punjabi. This was a song written is a situation where a relationship has turned toxic but both of them are finding it hard to move on. After going through a breakup last year, I was looking for a way to get the negative energy out of my body. I was planning on writing a sad song, but instead I found a very uptempo beat on chose to take the positive path. By doing this, I was hoping to create a personal message that even during the toughest times, you have to stay positive and find a way to smile. Every negative has a positive and I follow this in most situations. “soniye” is a negative situation turned positive.
