Destroy Lonely Redefines Rap Stardom With “Broken Hearts 3 (3³)"

Atlanta-born innovator Destroy Lonely unleashes the third chapter in his cult-favorite series with Broken Hearts 3 (</3³) out now via Opium. Teased by billboards lighting up New York City, the sprawling 18-track set reconnects Lonely with early collaborators Clayco, Cxdy, Cade, and Bugz Ronin, while pushing his artistry into darker, more expansive territory. “Broken Hearts 3” balances raw trap energy with punk-infused edges, each track carrying the DNA of Atlanta’s rap lineage while twisting it into a post-apocalyptic vision uniquely his own. With bold visuals and a sound that bridges underground grit and mainstream reach, the project captures the paradox of vulnerability and bravado that makes Lonely magnetic. Lonely declares:

It’s not a lifestyle, it’s life.

With high-energy standouts like Jumanji, a Ken Carson collab open it up, and the focus track screwed up, Lonely cements his reign as one of rap’s most forward-thinking stylists. The release arrives as Lonely prepares to hit the road on Playboi Carti’s Antagonist Tour, kicking off October 3 in Salt Lake City and hitting arenas across the U.S. Joined by Ken Carson, Homixide Gang, and Apollo Red, it marks the first full U.S. run as an Opium collective. Watch the “screwed up” video as Lonely proves his next chapter is already in motion. Stream “Broken Hearts 3 (</3³) today and follow Destroy Lonely on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
