Vi City Opens Up For Jacquees On Three-City California Valentine’s Day Mini Tour

Vi City x Jacquees

As Valentine’s Day invaded Los Angeles over the weekend, Grammy Nominated artist Jacquees headlined a three-city California Valentine’s Day mini-tour in 2026, presented by Live Nation Urban with special guests Jaz Karis and Vi City. Stopping through Los Angeles on Thursday night, R&B took over the Wiltern spreading love and positive vibes all night long. To make this show extra special, Grammy Nominated rapper K Camp hit the stage, reminding the world of how important it is to find love in the name of music. Vi City, who performed a dope set, including songs that appear on the soundtrack to the Award-Winning film American Clay, shined like a diamond with his original sound and cadence. One song that stands out the most is “Fendi Plans” as the lyrics are so relatable, honest and steadfast. Balancing producing full time, and being a recording artist, fans got a chance to see Vi bridging the two in a sonically, and ear appealing manner. His on-stage presence stood out most, as we had the crowd engaged the entire time. He even offered to cash app some fans if they could prove that they had used shazam to look up his music.  As previously mentioned, the music from Vi’s set originated from the award-winning short film, which has earned recognition on the festival circuit for its storytelling and creative direction. As Vi not only co-wrote, co-produced and co-wrote American Clay, his live set painted a raw picture of how he is able to infuse his spirituality, deep musical knowledge, and authentic creativity into song. It is a no brainer that he is one of the masterminds behind the film when you consider the high quality of music and passion that spewed out on stage. One thing that is for certain is that Vi City is a star and is just getting started! Today, Vi City continues to release new music while expanding his footprint as a collaborator, executive, and storyteller, with recent collaborations including Moneybagg Yo, Tee Grizzley, and Lil Poppa — positioning him as a multifaceted force bridging legacy hip-hop and the next wave of independent culture.
