Sexy “Luther” actor Idris Elba made his way to the 2014 EMMY Awards to flash his million-dollar smile on the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre Monday night.
The British actor went up against Chiwetel Ejiofor and others for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie category. He received his nomination for his role as DCI John Luther in the crime-drama series. Unfortunately, Idris nor Chiwetel won the award, but when you’re this fine, you definitely will be A-OK.
And before the show, Idris was in good spirits (above) as he traveled to the Nokia Theatre. He and his friends had a mini “turn up” session before sitting through the awards. And it went a little something like this:

In movies news…Idris is starring in the upcoming crime thriller titled “No Good Deed,” alongside Taraji P. Henson. The film hits theaters September 12th!
