Aretha Franklin was invited to perform at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors’ tribute to Carole King earlier this month, and now footage has surfaced of the song she performed: 1967’s “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”.
During the performance, President Obama is caught wiping what appears to be a tear from his eye, minutes before the audience is wowed to an emphatic standing ovation. Carole King, meanwhile, looks wholeheartedly impressed. Watch the video below, via NME.
