Chance the Rapper Drops New Single "Angels"

Tonight, Chance the Rapper performed a new song on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert“. Before his appearance on the show, the track surfaced on iTunes as a free download. During the episode, Stephen sat down with Chance for an interview. He played the clip of Chance’s recent interview on Hot 97 and then confronted the rapper about revealing their secret collaboration. Then, they teased that they were planning to release their collaboration without warning.

Colbert also talked to Chance about his decision to release his music for free. “Not making money is actually a growing business model,” joked Colbert. Then, Chance delivered a footwork-filled performance of “Angels” alongside Saba and the Social Experiment. Colbert sat perfectly still at his desk while wearing a halo.
