Chris Brown Says He’ll Quit Music After New Album Drops (@chrisbrown)

Brace yourself Team Breezy, because the end of Chris Brown’s music-making days may be nigh. The 24-year-old singer took to Twitter on Tuesday and revealed that after the release of “X,” he plans to quit music.

Brown said he’s “tired of being famous for a mistake” he made when he was 18, referencing the time he beat up Rihanna.

Brown has faced near constant criticism since the vicious assault that took place before the 2009 Grammys.

“X” is slated to drop August 20.
