French pop artist Christine and the Queens has shared a video for “Paradis Perdus”, via Vogue. The song, an interpolation of Kanye West’s “Heartless”, features verses sung in French alongside her take on the original’s chorus. It’s from Christine and the Queens’ self-titled album, out this Friday. Watch the video below. Update 10/14 10:12 a.m. EST: The verses sung in French are an interoplation of Christophe’s 1973 song “Les paradis perdus”.
