Coldplay and Beyoncé Share "Hymn for the Weekend"

Coldplay have shared a few tracks from A Head Full of Dreams, which is out December 4, and recently previewed each song from the album. Today, they shared “Hymn for the Weekend”, which is the track that features Beyoncé. It debuted on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show—listen to the song and an interview with Coldplay’s Guy Berryman below.

Berryman talked about how Chris Martin decided to write it as a “party song.” He said that Beyoncé came in, “she did her thing,” and recorded her part within five minutes.
