Crystal Castles Perform First Shows Without Alice Glass

Crystal Castles are currently working on a new LP, Ethan Kath’s first without former singer Alice Glass, who contentiously left the group last year. Tonight, they played their first live show without Glass at SoundsWild in Johannesburg, South Africa. The image above was shared on Crystal Castles’ Facebook along with the caption: “Edith Frances 1st show 1st time on stage, let’s show her luv xoxo”. The band is set to perform tomorrow at Synergy Live in Cape Town, as well as at South by South West in March 2016.

This summer, Crystal Castles dropped “Frail”, their first song with Edith. The same month, Alice Glass shared a solo track, “Stillbirth”.
