DJ Cassidy, a musician and producer who has DJ’ed both President Obama’s inaugural ball and Beyoncé and Jay Z’s wedding, has released a new single titled “Future Is Mine” featuring Chromeo. The song also features Patrice Rushen (of “Forget Me Nots” fame), drummer John J.R. Robinson (Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, countless others), guitarist Wah Wah Watson (Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Barry White), and horn player Jerry Hey (Michael Jackson). Listen above.
Chromeo’s White Women came out last year. Update: “Future Is Mine” will be released tomorrow as a single via Big Beat/Atlantic.
