Future Islands’ Sam Herring Revives Rap Alias Hemlock Ernst in Curse Ov Dialect’s "Twisted Strangers" Video

Future Islands‘ Sam Herring is also a rapper. Lately, he’s been collaborating with Madlib as Trouble Knows Me, and now, he’s revived his Hemlock Ernst alias on a new track by Australian rap group Curse Ov Dialect. 

Directed by Antuong Nguyen, the “Twisted Strangers” video sees the group exploring Melbourne in animal suits and masks, before Herring shows up to deliver a verse while driving through Baltimore. Watch it below, and listen to the song above.

“Twisted Strangers” is taken from Curse Ov Dialect’s album of the same name, out early 2016 on Monotype.
