Grizzly Bear‘s Ed Droste will appear in the new season of “Be Here Nowish”, Natalia Leite’s and Alexandra Roxo’s web series about two New Yorkers who move to Los Angeles in search of commercial, spiritual and sexual success. He plays a potential romantic partner for Roxo’s character, whom he encounters at a “Spritual Speed Dating” event. Below, you can watch a preview of one of his scenes, where he turns down her proposition for an evening of kimchi followed by a “sound bath.” Watch a trailer for the show’s season, too.
“Be Here Nowish” premieres through Vimeo On Demand on November 11. The special guests for this season include Tom Lipinski (“Broad City”, “The Knick”), Ashlie Atkinson (“High Maintenance”, “Nurse Jackie”) and Kate Lyn Sheil (“House of Cards”), to name a few.
According to a press release, Luiza Sa from CSS served as the music supervisor for the show’s second season.
