Teenage juvenile offender Nicholas Lindsey was sentenced to life in prison last year during 2012 for killing a police officer. However, the United States supreme court decided it was unconstitutional to sentence a juvenile to life in prison without parole so they revoked the sentence and put him on a re-trial, but the result was the same a second time around. Lindsey was sentenced for a second time to life in prison without parole due to the fact that the judge feels as though he hasn’t shown any signs of remorse or possibility of rehabilitation.
