Kanye West had a big day yesterday. After performing for the president at a DNC fundraiser, he apparently headed to the San Francisco auditions for “American Idol”‘s final season, Billboard reports. According to TMZ, judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. seemed surprised to see him.
It’s unclear what exactly went down (beyond him doing a little bit of “Gold Digger”), but there’s an image on TMZ of him holding one of those “you’re going to Hollywood” slips. You never know—maybe the final season of “American Idol” will star Kanye West.
West has a bit of history with “American Idol”—he performed “Heartless” on the show, and in 2011, he joined Katy Perry to perform “E.T.”.
