Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco has been open and forthright in his concerns over the ongoing violence among young people in his hometown. This week, when news broke of the six month old baby that was murdered by gunfire while he father was changing her diaper in his backseat, Lupe penned an emotional tribute to the slain infant. Lupe released the tribute to little Jonylah Watkins, a track called ‘Jonylah Forever’ via Twitter.“Not a song but a life. Be respectful. Please keep negative comments to yourself. #lovelifechitownforever,” he tweeted. |
