Junior Jackson better known by his stage name Junior J, is a musician, singer, and song writer from Louisville, KY. He began making a name for himself throughout the city of Louisville about 7 years ago when he released his first single, I Really Need You in 2009. Maintaining the number one spot for several weeks on the local radio station. Junior grabbed the attention and support of his fans. From here, Junior peaked his career with continuous opening act performances for celebrities such as Anthony Hamilton, Musiq Soulchild, Avant, K.Michelle, Blackstreet, Ginuwine, name a few. Aside from these performances, Junior also spent two years touring across the U.S with two-time Grammy nominated rap group Nappy Roots, whom he still occasionally travels and performs with. A more recent crowning moment in Junior’s musical journey occurred 2 years ago, with the release of his single Turning Me On, an El DeBarge remake of I Like It. With this release, Turning Me On has remained a top hit on local stations such as 93.1 The Beat, (an IHEARTRADIO affiliate) as well as many other stations.
