Fleet Foxes‘ Robin Pecknold has shared a cover of the Five Keys’ “Out of Sight, Out of Mind”. He posted it on the Fleet Foxes Facebook page with the note, “Happy holidays – here’s a cover.” Listen to it above.
Pecknold’s cover features Neal Morgan on percussion. The two collaborated earlier this year to compose music for the Off-Broadway play Wyoming.
Update (11/29, 9:42 a.m.): Last night, Fleet Foxes also changed their Facebook cover image to Philip Guston’s 1970 painting “Bad Habits”. Since occasionally, a new cover photo or profile picture precedes big news, we’ve reached out to the band’s representatives for comment.
