RZA directed 2011’s The Man With the Iron Fists and the forthcoming Azealia Banks-starring film Coco. It’s now been announced that the rapper/producer/actor/director will helm an action thriller called Breakout, Variety reports.
The film is reportedly about a young photographer who’s falsely arrested for drug trafficking in Bangladesh. His father seeks to break him out of prison and reveal the truth. The script is by Richard D’Ovidio, who previously wrote The Call, The Damned, Thir13een Ghosts, and more.
