Shannon Sharpe Rips the Dolphins For Allowing Racism to Occur (@68INCOGNITO @ShannonSharpe)

NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe went in on the Richie Incognito Miami Dolphins race issue on CBS’ pregame show recently, and spoke passionately about how part of the blame should be placed on the Miami Dolphins black players for allowing Incognito to get away with using racial slurs.  Sharpe believes that the fact that the Dolphins’ locker room is predominantly black and they never “checked” Richie previously on using racial slurs is “unacceptable”.  Sharpe related the meaning of the n-word back to generations past when black people fought for their rights and how the word carries negativity with it and should not be used in a humorous sense.
