Stars of the Lid Reissuing And Their Refinement of the Decline and The Tired Sounds Of

The influential drone/ambient duo Stars of the Lid are reissuing two albums that have been out-of-print on vinyl for quite a while. Both 2001’s The Tired Sounds Of and 2007’s And Their Refinement of the Decline are being reissued as triple LPs on August 14 via Kranky. That’s “December Hunting for Vegetarian Fuckface” above—the nearly 18-minute closer of Refinement.

According to a representative, the duo “continue to work [slowly] on new material”. Stars of the Lid will play a rare show tomorrow night at Unsound Toronto.
