Ty Segall Debuts New Song, Covers Neil Young’s "For the Turnstiles"

Ty Segall just finished up a run of solo acoustic shows in New York on Friday. As Stereogum points out, he covered Neil Young‘s On the Beach track “For the Turnstiles” and trotted out a new song. Watch him perform both alongside Wand‘s Cory Hanson below. (The new song starts at the 2:45 mark in the second video.)

Segall recently released an EP and two live records—one with the Ty Segall Band and another that was a Pickathon split with King Tuff. Earlier this year, In the Red revealed plans to release albums by Segall’s bands Fuzz and the Traditional Fools.
