Detroit artist Brooklyn Queen speaks to young people who are going through challenging situations in her emotional visual for “No Destination”.
“I wanted a song that people can relate to, talking about situations that are sometimes hard to talk about,” Brooklyn explains. “I thought of things I know my friends go through, like sitting in your room not wanting to be bothered, because you feel no one pays attention or understands. Or being a kid and getting touched against your will, whether it’s by a stranger or a family member. Also, I wanted to acknowledge the people who get treated badly because of the color of their skin, or their sexuality. Overall, I want to reach kids, teens, and even adults that no one makes songs about. And just remember, whatever you’re going through, you’re not alone”
