On Thursday, Meek Mill responded to Drake‘s diss tracks with “Wanna Know”. The track prominently samples “Graveyard Symphony”, wrestling legend the Undertaker’s entrance music. As TMZ reports, the WWE aren’t happy about the sample.
A spokesperson for the company told TMZ, “WWE takes its intellectual property rights very seriously, and we’re looking into the matter.”
To make matters worse for Meek Mill, he’s found an enemy in another WWE icon. Bret “The Hitman” Hart posted the OVO logo on his Instagram with the note, “My son [Blade Hart] showed me the feuding between [Meek Mill] and [Drake]. I’m glad to see a fellow Canadian walk away with the championship gold around his waist.” Harsh words from the Excellence of Execution.
