An annual concert series, The Give Back Show is sponsored by Rockview Entertainment dedicated to Iona Alum Shawn Saguid who passed away of Intimal Sarcoma in the Pulmonary artery and lungs in July of 2017. A rare form of cancer, Sarcoma grows in connective tissues, where tumors can be found in the bones, muscles, tendons, cartilage, nerves, fat , and blood vessels in the arms and legs. According to the Sarcoma Alliance there are 15,000 cases of sarcoma diagnosed each year. Shawn Saguid was a member of the  fraternity Delta Upsilon who spent the last few years of his life advocating for Sarcoma awareness after being diagnosed on leap day 2016 February 22. After his diagnosis Shawn continued to spread awareness and inform people of his fight all the way up to his last moments. The Give Back Show’s aim is to continue to raise awareness in Shawn’s memory.

After collaborating on Katie’s podcast Monday Night Rawrr Welcome to the Rawrrzone, Katie confided in S-Rock about her Give Back Show venture. Passionate about his own philanthropic efforts S Rock decided to become a partner coming on board to help the cause and promote awareness of Sarcoma. Raising $1.000 in their first year the pot raised to  over $1,200 in the second.  In the midst of year three, the plan is to tackle a goal of $5,000 for the Sarcoma Foundation of America in honor of Shawn Saguid. This years Give Back Show will take place on July 28th 2019 with headliners: Kony Brooks, R-Lyn, Richard Pigkaso, Jay Cotton, S-Rock, and Nikki Owens.
