(Mixtape) MobSquad Nard – I’m Serious | @MobSquadNard

Set on a fervent return to the scene, and laying claim to a well-deserved spot in the southern rap game, MobSquad Nard has returned and is dedicated to raising the bar with his new project I’m Serious. In late July the Cinematic signee and Florida native stirred up the pot by means of his newest single, accompanied with visuals by A Zae Production, for his song “Murda Scene”; a gritty account of the rappers life in the streets of Jacksonville chock-full of both passion as well as an animated and bellicose sense of do-or-die. Setting the stage for what’s to come, MobSquad Nard has delivered with vigor and fashioned his music with an eclectically southern style that makes for a classic orchestration of bars and cutting edge instrumentals.

Putting on for his end of the states the rapper boasts features from local artists such as Soulja K and Baby Soulja, as well as up-and-comers from cities like Nashville such as Starlito. With a strong bout of momentum the project is 11-tracks long with a surefire means of garnering serious buzz among the streets near and far from the rapper’s hometown of Jacksonville. The rapper has honed his lyrical abilities and energy in the studio over the years to develop a unique sound that is entirely authentic to the rapper’s own trials and tribulations whilst drawing inspiration from his own mentors including Baton Rouge royalty, Boosie Badazz as well as Juvenile and Trick Daddy.

The Summer Dead Cover

Think It’s A Game Records signee Rubberband OG releases his brand new mixtape titled The Summer Dead. Marking his first full project since the pandemic, the Montgomery, AL native is claiming his throne as the prizewinner for the summer season. Declaring his competition dead on arrival, the young rapper dishes out a 11-track forecast that is dynamic in sound and lyricism. With features from YFN Lucci and Big Yavo, the project is rooted in raw realities like “On A Mission” to go-getter introspections like “Up The Score.” With production credits from G1, BJ Beatz, Kasino, and Producer AG, The Summer Dead is the tale of an up-and-comer riding through his expedition of life and everything that comes with the price of success. Unabashed and laser focused, Rubberband’s album artwork depicts a parallel to Jay-Z’s Marcy Project’s backdrop, a man rising above his barriers of environment, lady woes, and naysayers but never too far from his roots.
