Upcoming Va producer Brileeezy gets placement on Netflix show and charts 28 in the UK

Published

on

Meet Brileeezy, female producer native to Virginia. She’s been consistently producing for a few months now but started playing around with beat making over a year ago. Her first initial track got picked up by Black Aruebach and artist Verse Muney. To follow, the track, now known as “The Bottom” has been picked up by Netflix Original Series “On My Block” and is featured in season three of the show. The Bottom was released in March of this year (2020) and the season premier followed directly after on March 11th of this year. Since then, the track has been heard in many countries, playlisted and charted – hitting over 250k streams just a couple of months ago. Peaking as high as number 28 on the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap charts in the United Kingdom was the most recent accomplishment for this particular track. However, Leeezy isn’t finished yet. She’s been working closely with a few artists both in her area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) and out of town. Though she’s relatively new, she’s gotten quite a good amount of support and recognition. Of course, that only drives one to want to do more. So follow her on all socials at @itsbrileeezy and check out “The Bottom” below!

Introducing recording artist and producer Jay$

Published

on

Jay$ (James Logan) is an American recording artist and producer from Huntsville, Alabama. He started in music at an early age and by 2013 he had his first recording deal on the table from Slip & Slide Records. Like many new artists he has taken a hiatus from music here and there. In 2018 he returned with a label of his own Rocket City Records, LLC focusing on artist development, marketing, and distribution. They have since gone on to have generated millions of streams and consistent show bookings. When it comes to his sound, Jay$, truly tries to stay unchanged by the new hip hop due to the fact that he grew up listening to T.I, No Limit, Nas, and others that have also stayed true to the music.

Peace Galaxy Paves a Lane of Her Own

PeaceGalaxy

Los Angeles-based Peace Galaxy is a producer whose style spans as broadly as her name suggests.

Her project Sample Life, Vol. 1 is a collection of instrumentals that draw from several genres, styles and songs including Kanye’s track “Touch The Sky” and the futuristic funkyness of the Neptunes. Galaxy explained that music isn’t the only thing that she draws inspiration from.

“I can get inspiration from anywhere. It can be from heartbreak or it could be from the feeling of love. I also get inspiration from the producers I admire and respect or something that randomly occurs,” she said.

Galaxy describes her sound as: “the female version of Pharrell mixed with my unique, spaced out futuristic dopeness.” This specific influence is evident on tracks like “Goodbye Never,” “Only U Knew,” and “Testify.”

The multi-talented act has her sights set on winning several Grammys, becoming a multi-platinum selling producer and signing artists to her label GLXY7 Ent. She seems to be well on her way to this goal despite dropping only one project to date.

Galaxy has been spotted with mogul/record label exec LA Reid, John Legend, and Michael Hampton, the guitarist for the legendary funk band Parliament-Funkadelic.

Looking toward the future, Peace Galaxy looks to improve on her skills and continue to work towards her goals.
