Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins’ signee Hollyn fans the flames on her hot streak by releasing the sequel to Theology of Beauty: Fall, Theology of Beauty: Winter. Entirely produced by Grammy-winning collective Weathrman, the project comes coupled with a Joshua Wann-directed visual for “If You Love Me At All” and follows the virtuous vocalist well received “Aren’t We All” (Remix) featuring Foggieraw, which debuted last month.
In this second installment of their debut album series, Thelogy of Beauty, the band explores the complexity of experiencing love in the midst of navigating death. Hollyn couples heart-piercing Soulful performance with the gritty, chilling sonics from Weathrman. Features this time around come compliments of Moment Worship, Ryan Ofei, and Alienz Alive label mate Aklesso. During the winter season, trees lose leaves and snow covers all. Though it’s cold and the nights are long, comfort comes from resting, reflecting and knowing we are loved.
