Sid Wilson Ignites A New Era With Vomit Face Records, Leading With Explosive Father–Son Legacy Track “Take It Back”

Some revolutions aren’t born in silence, they erupt. Slipknot turntablist and creative disruptor Sid Wilson has officially launched Vomit Face Records. This label is a radical new imprint dedicated to the misfits, the boundary-breakers, and those who turn chaos into culture. Take It Back, featuring Lil Bushwick and unreleased vocals from his late father, hip-hop legend Bushwick Bill of Geto Boys, the label’s debut single fuses industrial rage, Houston grit, and punk defiance. “Take It Back,” honors the legacy of Bushwick Bill while crowning Lil Bushwick as the next torchbearer in a lineage built on truth, trauma, and unapologetic originality. co-produced by DJ Lethal and Wilson himself, the birth of a label is turning into a sonic uprising. Wilson had to say:

Bushwick Bill and I had made a promise to each other to make an album. After several roadblocks in scheduling, Bill sadly, and unfortunately, passed away due to illness most were unaware of. In meeting his son and discovering that he too was a music artist, I made a promise to the spirit of the great Bushwick, that I would fulfill our pact by producing an album for his son. We did just that, and through the help of a dear friend DJ Lethal, we were able to add an unreleased track of Bill’s, and I’m proud to say, we made the impossible possible for this iconic hip-hop lineage of father and son.

Lil Bushwick adds:

Being able to collaborate with my pops 6 years after his passing brings me a different type of joy. Hearing his voice again speaking life and expressing himself just as I remembered takes me back to the simpler times. I know he’d be proud of how I approached each verse my own way. He was always big on being yourself and I’ll forever be that. Long live Chuckwick 4L.

Lil Bushwick’s upcoming self-titled album, opens with his father’s legendary line “This year Halloween fell on a weekend.” Arriving October 31, this album sets the stage for a records which blends grief, legacy, and rebirth into a fearless declaration of identity. Vomit Face Records emerges not as an alternative, but as the antidote for sonic anarchy. Built for the outliers, stream “Take It Back” now.
