Having recently celebrated her 1 year anniversary of being in business, she has made it her mission to shed light on black and brown businesses that have become essentials in Los Angeles culture.
Black LA Food Tours is a Los Angeles-based experiential tourism company that curates culturally rich food experiences highlighting Black-owned restaurants and entrepreneurs. With an original business model and innovative idea, Miles has been able to blend storytelling, community, and cuisine to create memorable, high-energy experiences for both locals and visitors.
Her impact has grown beyond anything she could have ever imagined. Starting with an Instagram page that has grossed over 30k followers within a year, she has successfully operated 50+ tours throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Garnering the attention of Award Winning Film Director Ava Duvernay who secured a tour, and comedian and actor Kel Mitchell whose wife also participated in a food tour, Miles in her way to infiltrating the mainstream Hollywood audience one tour at a time.
Black LA Food Tours has supported over 100 Black-owned restaurants across Los Angeles County, driving both visibility and economic impact. With increasing demand for cultural experiences and curated tourism, the brand is well-positioned to scale through expanded routes, larger capacity, and strategic partnerships with hotels, tourism boards, and national brands.
