From Monrovia, Liberia, Don Chapino drops his first tape War Crimes: True Story. Don puts listeners in the shoes of the average day to day life of a Liberian child.

After a 14 year long civil conflict in Liberia, families were separated, loved ones lost, and the rest left traumatized. Don’s upcoming tape is an introduction to the struggle, examining its impact before, during, and after the civil conflicts.

A true Authentic Liberia classic War Crimes: True Story is eclectic and upbeat, painted in tropical sonic landscapes. Padded in percussion and polished instrumentation, it’s a wonderful afro-infused jam. Listen now!

Frienimes and family, struggle and sabotage is nothing more than a Vicious Cycle. Poised about the release of his debut album Fab 5, breakout rapper/songwriter EmanuelDaProhet exposes the harsh realities of life on the streets with a resounding message of hope. Like many young people growing up in Jackson, Michigan, Emanuel saw few options to build a life beyond gun violence, drugs and dead ends. But getting shot proved to be a major wake-up call and the experience ultimately gave him a renewed sense of purpose. With his commitment to making faith-formed and culture-forward music, Emanuel spoke on the album saying:

I’m feeling really excited about this album because I put my all into it. I gave it everything I have and it’s about my real life. Also, it’s incorporated with a Michigan sound where I’m actually from with a lot of producers from my home state I’ve always wanted to work with.

On the hard-hitting single, EmanuelDaProphet and Rylo Rodriguez tap into their experiences coming up in Jackson, Michigan and Mobile, Alabama respectively. Trading verses, they vividly capture the pressures young men face growing up on the streets – and suggest there is a better way. You can also catch the likes of Lil Yachty and Rich The Kid on the album available here. Stay tuned for a lot of changes from the Tamla Records signee and connect with EmanuelDaProphet on Instagram, YouTube, and Tik Tok. Listen to the official audio below.

LunchMoney Lewis Drops New Song “Rain Or Shine”

Still riding “High” off his recent collaboration with Dylan Chambers and ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ GRAMMY win for Lil Durk’s “All My Life” featuring J. Cole earlier this year, Miami musician LunchMoney Lewis delivers “Rain or Shine.” Co-produced by JulianBeatz & BRIANXWHITE, “Rain or Shine” is a record about believing things will get better even when everything feels hopeless. In current times where there is so much pain in the world, Lewis wrote the Hip-Hop / R&B-influenced track to help us overcome life’s hurdles with love.

“In light of everything going on in the world, I’ve been in a very tough place creatively about what I wanna write about. Seeing so many innocent lives taken pushed me to make something that gives people hope in some fashion, rain or shine. We will continue to push love and love only, even in the face of darkness,” states the talented triple threat about the inspiration behind his latest leak.

Best known for his work with Dr. Luke as a producer, LunchMoney Lewis first broke into wide recognition as a rapper after appearing on the song “Trini Dem Girls” from Nicki Minaj’s 2014 album ‘The Pinkprint.’ He also co-wrote Jessie J’s single “Burnin’ Up” from her album ‘Sweet Talker,’ and Fifth Harmony’s single “Bo$$” from the album ‘Reflection.’ In 2015, he released his debut single as a solo artist, “Bills”, which peaked at 79 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number one on the ARIA Charts.

Krown Vic Links With Big Flock For Some Adventures With “Knock Knock”

21 Savage collaborator and Upper Marlboro native Big Flock joins Krown Vic for his Kidd Slopes produced single “Knock Knock.” Less than a week removed from The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death anniversary, which features inspiration drawn track “Kick In The Door,” the cohesive cut finds the DMV rap acts trading tails from the hood over menacing production.

“I was put on to Flock’s music when I was doing my thing in Maryland. Females I dealt with would always be bumping him so I started to become a fan. Now that I make music, I felt it was only right to collaborate, ” say’s the Virginia mainstay about how the record came into fruition.

Vic is a VA raised rapper who, alongside in-house producer Garso Dio, combines Hip-Hop beats and witty wordplay with a Trap-Punk twist. Though he stays true to his lane of street storytelling, K.V.‘s lyrics double as a cautionary tale to the youth about how making the wrong decisions can derail you from personal growth. As an adolescent, he admired heavy-weight entertainers like Eminem and Michael Jackson, who influenced his sonic stylings.

After touring the West Coast and Florida with Lil Pump, D Savage, and Joey Fatts, Vic regularly performs at local Washington D.C. venues Eden, Griffin, and Rose Bar. He has also shared the stage with Billboard chart-topping artists Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, and DRAM.
