Dakari Eli Drops “Cuffin’ Season” EP & “My Way” Video

Today, New York R&B/soul singer Dakari Eli released a video for  “My Way” along with her EP, “Cuffin’ Season,” via her independent label Black Dove Studios. The beautiful guitar-driven track highlights her incredible voice and eloquent songwriting. Dakari Eli wrote, arranged, produced, and recorded the entire project with her home recording studio with instrumentals purchased online. The project was mixed and mastered by renowned composer DJ SpinDoc. Cuffin’ Season follows her debut EP, “Black Dove Blue Song” which received critical acclaim with support from several leading media outlets including Hip-Hop Since 1987, Respect Magazine, Right On!, Urban Magazine, This Entertainment, and more. “My Way” is the second single from her sophomore project, coming on the heels of the soulful “888” which was accompanied by a sultry visualizer that premiered in November. “’888’ is symbolic of the infinite emotion that is all-consuming after lovemaking occurs between karmic lovers. The void that is created once the relationship doesn’t pan out feels like an eternity,” the singer/songwriter explains.
