New Jersey based Rapper Mvntana Gives Back to Lagos, Nigeria Elementary School @mvn.tana

On Monday April 24, 2023 New Jersey based rapper Mvntana, took time out of vacation overseas to visit a local elementary school in Lagos, Nigeria. What a lot of people don’t know, Mvntana was actually born and raised in Nigeria, before his family moved to the United States when he was just five years old. He has since stayed in the United States but has always set his sights on being able to go back home and help other who grew up and are still pathing their way through the struggle he once experienced. “Being able to come back here & just see genuine joy on these kids faces when we announced the donation, is literally everything to me. It’s never just about the music, but most importantly being able to make an impact and use your blessings to bless others” – Mvntana Mvntana was able to donate many books in which he gathered from a previous book drive held in Newark, NJ. He also donated 10 brand new HP laptops to help the school grow its IT department. It’s always great to see artist giving back and connect with their roots and what makes them who they are! Video-5
