Hovlaine drops the highly anticipated music video for her tropical tinged single “Body.” The Philadelphia singer creative directed the music video and had the brilliant DevKamera take charge of videography. The production invites viewers into the songstress’ Haitian heritage, adorned in bright colors and tidbits of Haitian Creole. Hovlaine exudes her sensual, self-assured persona from spotlight silhouette shots to seductive pool cuts. She celebrates her femininity and confidence, while ensuring her expression is authentic.

When asked about the inspiration behind “Body,” Hovlaine shared, “I wanted to write a song that felt good but came from a real authentic place. West Indies culture is about love, expression, sensuality and spirituality. Being Haitian myself, I feel confident and powerful in my femininity and wanted to capture that in this record.”
