GloRilla Shines Divine In “RAIN DOWN ON ME” With Kirk Franklin, Maverick City & More

Where there’s grace, there’s glory and Glo just poured it down on us. GloRilla pairs street-rooted sincerity with gospel grandeur in RAIN DOWN ON ME. Featuring Kirk Franklin, Kierra Sheard, Chandler Moore, and Maverick City Music, the Benny Boom-directed video is a sunlit celebration of faith, healing, and testimony. From acts of charity to scenes of baptism, every frame beams with soul and purpose. The track hails from GloRilla’s 2024 GLORIOUS album, and its No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart led to her first-ever BET Award win for the Bobby Jones Award for Best Inspirational Performance.

As if the gospel glow wasn’t enough, GloRilla delivered a headline-stealing BET Awards medley, pairing LET HER COOK with her latest single Typa, which debuted Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart. A surprise appearance from Keyshia Cole and a tap-dance interlude gave fans yet another reason to call Glo one of the most daring performers in hip-hop today. From Hot 97 Summer Jam to next month’s ESSENCE Festival, it’s all building toward her inaugural Glo Bash in Memphis on July 25th. Watch the brand new official video below, stream RAIN DOWN ON ME, and follow her on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
