What does the future hold for a nine-year-old whose first rap was “F*ck School” a stamped destiny as a Hip Hop artist/Stapleton/CEO. City The Great carries an impressive music catalog brimming with a series of mixtapes, collaborations, and full-length albums. With such a rock-solid catalog it only made sense for Hip Hop greats to catch wind of it. Immediately after hearing some of City The Great’s projects, Special Ed signed him as the first artist under his new label SEmedia. It doesn’t just stop with an impressive body of artistry, in fact, for City The Great he’s full throttle into expanding his brand, Certified Nation Entertainment’s roster, and diligently working to bridge the generation gap in Hip Hop. In doing so, he partnered with Kool Rock Ski (The Fat Boys) to co-orchestrate the Annual Classic Hip Hop and R&B Cookout in NY. “He keeps me young and motivated to keep pushing and creating.” – Kool Rock Ski Both Special Ed, Kool Rock Ski, along with other major Hip Hop pioneers see City The Great as a breath of fresh air that exudes a sense of nostalgia. His ability to reach the masses, worldwide, via honest, lyricism and storytelling that revives the elements of Hip Hop is unmatched. “He’s talented and intuned with the culture and driven to make a difference. -Special Ed Be sure to connect with City The Great below and grab a copy of his latest projects ‘The Wordsmith’ album and ‘Respectfully Yours’ the mixtape.
