StopTheFent hosted its first event of the year, to educate community members about the harrowing effects fentanyl is having on the black and brown communities in the greater Los Angeles area. In collaboration with LA Taco House, founder Rodney Morris fed the community, passed out merch and Narcan, set up a table to purchase new products from his clothing line, and shared ways his peers can support such a powerful cause.
At StopTheFent, their mission is simple;Empower the community with knowledge and resources. Whether it’s through distributing Narcan, offering fentanyl test strips, or simply spreading the word about the dangers of this drug, this movement is designed to make a difference. This is not just about prevention; it’s about protecting our future and ensuring that our loved ones are safe.
But StopTheFent is not just an organization; It is a movement. With the support of the community, Morris is spreading awareness, encouraging open discussion, and helping save lives one day at a time. This event signals the start of something truly incredible.
