Check out 14 year old Tashawn Fambro Jr from Warren, Ohio. This 6’5′ emerging freshman has been creating a buzz. Since the season started, the Howland Tigers have started the new power forward. One of the highlights is his 22 point, 11 rebound, 10 assists game against the Boardman Spartans, the young power has begun to gain the attention from teams across the state of Ohio. Looking up to star players like Lebron James, Anthony Edwards, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant you can see how they have inspired his game. In his spare time Tashawn likes to play video games, some of his favorite games are NBA 2K, Madden, and Rainbow Six Siege. In the next 5 years he would like to play college basketball for some of his favorite schools like Ohio State, Duke, North Carolina, and Michigan . Growing up playing in the Boys and Girls Club Fambro Jr has a giving heart so it’s important for him to always give back to his community.

Get to know Jose Andres Cortes, Professional Boxer & MMA Fighter most known as “The Colombian Necktie”

Jose Andres Cortes originally from Cali, Colombia now residing in West Palm Beach FL, (USA) is an experienced Professional Boxer & MMA Fighter most known as “The Colombian Necktie” also well known as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor.

He came to the United States in the early 2000’s running from Violence, cartel & political wars that his native country of Colombia was going through at the moment. Jose was always an athlete , since young age he was a great soccer player, he played in the minor leagues of the Pro soccer team (America de Cali) and had offers from professional teams in Argentina such of Boca Juniors & River plate with the goal of trading him to play in Europe after a couple years.

Before turning Pro , Jose had a lot of Experience in the amateurs, fighting 38 boxing fights & 15 MMA amateur fights, also competed in BJJ/Grappling tournaments where he won gold medals even though he was considered just a striker, Jose showed that he’s also well rounded also in the ground department.

Jose is also known for stopping Robberies in various occasions where he used his fighting skills to control the thieves & turning into the police. He became viral After video was publish in social media of him capturing the thieve. This is also the reason why he decided to start giving self defense classes for all ages and genders focusing also on helping women to learn how to protect themselves.

Jose’s last fight was a few months ago on January 31st with the promotion (World Class Combat Sports 1) which took place in Fort Lauderdale FL, USA where he came out victorious against another experienced MMA fighter. Two weeks prior to this fight Jose fought a BOXING pro fight in Cali, Colombia In the even called (GoodFellas Boxing Promotion) where he also came out victorious, bringing the win back home to West palm beach FL where he resides.

Jose is currently still training for whatever challenge is next either in MMA or BOXING since he does both. He has fought in big promotions such as (World Series of fighting) currently called (PFL) Premier fighting League on NBCSports network , also (Titan FC) on UFC fight pass, Island Boxing Promotions shown on (ESPN) and many more.

Michelob Ultra Brings Awarness to Women’s Sports Foundation With Celebrity Bowling Event

Michelob Ultra continues to be a leading brand in innovation and opportunity. With an epic night of celebration at Hollywood’s hottest lanes at this year’s Super Bowl, they put together a top tier event that brought awareness to the Women’s Sports Foundation. This event took place on the eve of the Super Bowl in downtown LA (Hollywood). With complimentary food and drinks provided by Michelob Ultra, ticket holders were able to indulge in food and drink while watching some of the world’s leading athletes and entertainers face off in a celebrity bowling tournament. The roster included living legends Shaquille O’Neal, Peyton Manning, Ludacris, JJ Watts, and Emily Ratajkowski. But the fun did not stop there! Michelob Ultra recruited Bay Area superstar Saweetie who provided a live entertainment concert, off the back of her new single “Closer” featuring Grammy Award Winning R&B star H.E.R. Looking fly and gorgeous, she performed in a sparkly green ensemble with the hair to match. Sound was provided by Award-Winning DJ D-Nice, who also live streamed Saweetie’s performance so fans all over the world could see Saweetie shine. The vibe was electric, the audience was lively and Saweetie created a memorable experience for everyone in attendance. Kudos to Michelob Ultra for bringing attention to the Women’s Sports Foundation, through sports and music entertainment.
