Summer Walker’s “Spend It” Is Filled With Pearls, Power, & Plot Twist

“Give me the last 4 of your credit card, buy back my love, you can keep your heart.” With this commanding line, Summer Walker kicks off her latest single Spend It. Out now with two bonus versions, Diamonds & Pearls and Rent Is Due, this latest track is a slick, satirical anthem that laces heartbreak with high fashion and heist-level revenge. In the cinematic music video, Walker recruits P-Valley stars Gail Bean, Miracle Watts, and Brandee Evans for a high-stakes mansion heist led by a pearl-drenched seductress with an agenda. Actor Eric Roberts stars as the unsuspecting mark in a lavish game of cat and mouse, while Angela White and even Joanne The Scammer make cheeky cameos. Summer’s cashing out with power! Swapping vulnerability for velvet rope confidence, Walker’s hypnotic groove and sultry delivery set the tone for her upcoming final album in the trilogy, Finally Over It. This summer, she’s set to support Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Stadium Tour alongside Bryson Tiller, and is also booked for South Africa’s Daisies Festival. Let us know your thoughts on the official video for “Spend It” in the comments below. As the final chapter closes ,connect with Summer Walker for more!
