Funnyman Kevin Hart covers the summer 2013 #NSFW issue of Annex Man Magazine. Deemed the "ALLAN Issue", the fashion-forward magazine features spreads on streetstyle blooger Prince Paleyo, knitwear designer extraordinaire Mark Fast, Chris Brown’s new artist Sevyn Streeter, and actors Gilles Marini, Robbie Jones, Avan Jogia, and Jean-Luc Bilodeau. And in addition to articles on Sex in America and the "Art of the Sextape", the magazine got Kevin to open up about his wild ride through Hollywood…including his DUI!
In the accompanying pictorial shot by photographer Bradford Rogne and styled by creative director AllanTroy Watson, Kevin shares his thoughts on fame, success and fashion. Here are the highlights:
On His DUI:

Several movies. 2013 is the year of the movies for me. Starting with my concert movie "Let Me Explain" in theaters July 3rd. I plan to hit the road in 2014 with a brand new hour.

In the latest issue of BILLBOARD Magazine, the gorge Janelle Monae reveals that she’s ready take her music mainstream with her upcoming disc, Electric Lady. The disc (no release date yet) will feature star turns from Prince and Miguel and is ready to set radio on fire. In the cover story, Atlantic Records Group chairman/COO Julie Greenwald tells BILLBOARD,
"This album has a lot of songs that can get played on mainstream radio. Before, we got a lot of attention in the press, on the blogs, on the video networks. But we didn’t crack the code at radio. So if you connect that last dot, it’s going to be a significant improvement from the last album cycle. Which is really going to put her music in so many people’s homes."

All of us have very similar fights with society and oppressors, with those who are not about love, who are more about judging. There are two different types of people: Some people come into this world to judge, some people come into this world to jam. Which one are you? It’s a question we should all ask ourselves. My job is to create art that starts a dialogue, to create songs and lyrics that ask society these questions, by using myself as a sacrificial lamb."

Ottawa’s Taz returns with a new single “Fall 4 You” produced by Denysxw_beats. The video was shot in Miami. Fall 4 You was created, I never heard of him but when I heard the Beat , is when I just know , this is how I make most of my music . I hear a beat then I put words to the music. I recorded this song in 1 hour with a producer named Daniel “Dray” Paisly who works out of a recording studio here in Ottawa called The Cave.
When I was young I always listened to Hiphop / rap and was always listening to all kinds of artist and knew these 3 artists would make it big one day. The number one reason was their wordplay & lyricism. I like aboogie , polo G and liltjay because Their music taught me about life as a young teenager and the music speaks to me . These 3 artist always stood out to me from their melodic flow & cadence. I always dreamed that one day maybe I could be just like them.

Orlando native artist Fleetwood Jr dives deep into his personal journey with his latest single, “Feel Me,” released on September 28, 2024. Produced by Djstakkman, the track captures Fleetwood’s raw reflections on his life experiences, particularly his encounters with police brutality and growing up in a tough environment.
