The famed Saatchi Gallery in London will open an exhibition called Mademoiselle Privé this fall.

The show will take interested fashionistas through the design world of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel and the contemporary direction the brand has evolved under Karl Lagerfeld. Visitors will witness three floors of Haute Couture creations, re-editions of the High Jewelry “Bijoux de Diamants” — a collection created in 1932, and the signature scent Chanel No. 5.

To be specific, Bijoux de Diamants are the only fine jewelry ever created by Coco Chanel, which originally made its debut at the French fashion house’s fall couture show earlier this month. In addition to showing off Chanel’s history, pieces designed by Karl Lagerfeld for his Karl Lagerfeld: Modemethode are currently on display at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn.

“Fashion Method,” or Modemethode includes 126 looks from the designer, 120 accessories, 177 buttons, hundreds of sketches, film clips and ad campaigns that were art directed and photographed by Lagerfeld. “I think it’s interesting for people to see what I do, but I don’t have to go there because I know what I did, and sitting on your laurels mean they stop growing,” Lagerfeld told WWD.

Celebrating the life of Coco Chanel has become a tradition throughout the European region. From this recently unveiled exhibition to past musicals, art has significantly charted the life and times of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel and her illustrious fashion house.

Interested parties can check out Mademoiselle Privé when it opens on October 13 to November 1.
