Just in time for the spring/summer, a new clothing line created by an international singer has launched. Known as Belgium’s rising pop star, Stromae is slowing gaining acclaim for his message-filled music and style. Viewers may have noticed in his “Papaoutai” video (below), that the pieces worn by Stromae himself and his “son” are quite bold.
They’re actually pieces from his new collection with Brussels studio Boldatwork. As reported by OkayAfrica, the collection is a mix of colorful patterns and psychedelic prints presented in polos, shirts, cardigans and high socks all created in Europe (France, Belgium and Portugal). The pieces cleverly marry the artist’s Belgian and Rwandan roots– that’s also reflective in his music.
